User Agents Preferences

UA4

Changing the user agent of your web viewer changes its identity to the web apps it displays for you.  This is particularly fitting and we are quite proud of this one.

We had considered using an outline of the Hana icon with icons for each of the five major browsers on the Mac platform in each petal.  Five?  Okay, we had to stretch to include Internet Explorer's icon, but many users still are stuck with it, sadly.  Additionally, we had Safari, Firefox, Omniweb and Opera.  In the end, we felt it probably wasn't right to use these trademarks so blatantly in our application.  It WAS fitting, but they are, in a way, competitors, so not so right.  Integrity.

Internet Explorer is a Trademark of Microsoft Corporation, Safari is a Trademark of Apple, Inc., Firefox is a Trademark of the Mozilla Foundation, Omniweb is a Trademark of Omni Group and Opera is a Trademark of Opera Software, and of course, Hana is a Trademark of All Out Software, LLC.
